ART & WELLNESS ADVISORY
Most workplaces aren’t designed with art and imagination in mind, nor do they consider the significant impact that clear visual language and thoughtfully curated spaces can have in supporting job performance and helping to further mission-driven work.
Remember when you first started your job, newly excited about the mission? Remember the origin story of the idea for your life changing product? Our intentions can drift as we wade through the endless tasks to do our jobs well, so when we look up from our desks, a reminder of purpose can help us to reorient.
Whether a home office or a large corporation, we want to help create spaces that reflect and encourage the people that spend so much of their time in them.
Tracie Cheng is passionate about shaping environments through her art and designs, a desire cultivated during her time in architecture school. Her artistic style channels aspects of Chinese brush painting and abstraction, seeking to bring together the natural and the built world through her linescapes.
Notable projects: Mount Sinai Concierge Care, American Express Lounge at SFO, The Mayo Clinic, Marina Bay Sands.
Eóin Patrick Burke is an artist interested in bringing mindfulness and sacredness into our everyday lives. His work encourages reflection as a way of being intentional and present. He received his MFA from Yale University.
Notable projects: CT Innovations, Southern Connecticut State University, Elm City Vineyard Church
We require inspiration, imagination, and momentum to thrive at work. Good art and design can establish a space for our bodies and minds to settle into creativity and productivity.
Some workspaces lack windows, some have an abundance of bare walls, while others don’t have a clear understanding of their design aesthetic. Art can reflect light, literally and figuratively, and it's about feeling more capable immersed in light.
Rather than denying the impact our places of employment have on our mental, emotional, and physical well-being, we believe these spaces should be filled with visual liveliness that reflects hope, joy, and thoughtfulness.
Rather than focusing purely on aesthetics or the market value of an artwork, we believe art is a powerful communicator with inherent value, especially when it supports your vision for meaningful and effective work.
